Example Project
Deer Park Independent School District AV & WAN integration and Performing Arts Center

QCTV helped the Houston area’s Deer Park Independent School District upgrade their audio video capabilities and helped them complete their new performing arts center
The school district’s goal was to use it’s expanding WAN to tie everything together, but to keep its aging, but familiar analog audio visual distribution system. Their new performing arts center would need to have cutting edge visual and sound performance, and allow broadcast of events within the district and outside. These were lofty and aggressive goals to achieve within a budget. QCTV provided is extensive experience in cable TV distribution to augment the existing AV system with remote broadcast carts. These RF distribution systems were then tied into the WAN using routing switchers and modulators.
QCTV fit out the sophisticated performing arts center with the projectors, screens, players, microphones, amps, speakers, and controllers required for a world class presentation.
The public address system was then configured to work in tune with the entire district’s video feeds and audio setup.
If there was ever a good test of the capacities of an “Integrator”, the Deer Park ISD’s project goals was graduate level work.
QCTV has received recognition of the quality and sophistication of its work in a feature article in “Sound & Communications” magazine’s May 19, 2003 issue. Click on the Acrobat PDF file below to read the article in full.
